This is a summer internship which will last approximately 4 months beginning in May 2023.

This position plays a key role in the digital development team within Nutrien's IT Digital Delivery Center (DDC). The DDC oversees and executes design, development, and delivery of digital and custom solutions for Nutrien.

The DDC focuses on driving value from Nutrien's strategic digital technology investments by delivering exceptional experiences and placing humans and customer obsession at the center of what we do, what we develop and how we deliver and sustain our digital assets.

What you will do:

Develop, unit test and deploy custom digital web apps hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Participate in the design, building, and maintenance of software modules
Shadow senior developers as they evaluate technologies and design for enterprise scalability, performance, and optimization
Build workingknowledge about responsive React front ends and, leading serverless technologies (such as Lambda and DynamoDB) and microservicebased architectures
Actively work with other roles in an enterprise agile delivery team, including project managers, business analysts, QAs, and UX/UI designers
Fix defects and participate in QA review processes, manual tests, and automations
Work with other IT teams such as infrastructure, cyber security, and data services/analytics

What you will bring:

Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or equivalent degree program and completed at least 2 years of study
