The duties assigned to Maintenance Administrative Assistant are the following:

  • Assuming day-to-day responsibility for the tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the Maintenance Department in compliance with internal policies, Starlink operational requirements and Transport Canada regulatory standards;
  • Responsible for providing the necessary data to the accounting department to complete the production of maintenance employee payroll;
  • Providing aircraft warranty hours and cycles to specific manufacturers for extended warranty programs;
  • Updating customer contract billing parameters and providing the necessary data to the accounting department to complete the production of Starlink Aviation's monthly customer billing;
  • Responsible for reviewing and assigning followup training for maintenance employees, technical, health and safety and administrative training;
  • Responsible for maintaining, filing, and photocopying maintenance personnel and aircraft technical records;
  • Support the Operations Department as required in the revision of flight logs and basic pilot training;
  • Approved Vendor participation process;
  • Service Bulletin and Technical Library review;
  • Maintenance tracking tasks CAMP update;
  • Maintenance package preparation;
  • Audit support by providing evidence to the auditor;
  • Maintenance Manual publication update (clerical);
  • All other related tasks.

Requirements:


  • Training in aircraft maintenance from an educational institution approved by Transport Canada or other relevant training;
  • Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status;
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written);
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Corridor, CAMP and Nabupro software knowledge an asset;
  • Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
