About the Role:


As a Business Development Lead at Quantum Bridge, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our flagship products based on our patented Distributed Symmetric Key Establishment (DSKE) technology.

You will be responsible for identifying, connecting with, and ultimately qualifying leads with particularly high buying potential, primarily in the Government, Defense, and Financial sectors.

The role involves conducting thorough research on leads, engaging in proactive outreach, and developing extensive market knowledge to uncover sales opportunities.

Your objective will be to position DSKE as a differentiated solution that addresses the critical needs of our customers and effectively mitigates the looming quantum threat.

The individual should have
experience working in a start-up environment. The ability to collaborate and approach problems hands-on are essential for this role. Ample growth opportunities will be provided in your role and as the organization grows over time.


This position is based out of Toronto, Canada. Remote work options are available, but in-person work will be required from time to time. We invite you to read the duties and responsibilities, requirements, and what we offer below.


Your day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conduct high-level industry research to understand market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the Government, Defense, Financial and Critical Infrastructure sectors
  • Proactively identify and engage with prospects through various channels, including outreach, networking events, and through strategic partnerships
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers' pain points, challenges, and priorities related to cybersecurity and encryption
  • Educate prospects about the quantum threat landscape and the importance of informationtheoretic security in safeguarding sensitive data
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and proposals that align with customers' specific requirements and objectives
  • Lead the qualification process by asking insightful questions, actively listening to customers' concerns, and articulating the value proposition of DSKE
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM tools
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting cybersecurity and encryption

You will bring:


  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology sector
  • Strong knowledge of business development strategies, sales techniques, and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
  • Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and perseverance in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
  • Experience in managing sales and marketing efforts in a startup, including training and coaching others
  • Sharp negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Proficiency in project management tools and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Understanding of cryptographic principles, quantum computing, and information security concepts is advantageous but not required

  • Salary: $90,000.00$100,000.00
