Full-time, Temporary 6 months (possibility to convert into permanent)

Responsibilities

  • Help in the preparation of payroll for employees in Canada and US.
  • Ensuring accuracy of all payroll data, such as, benefits forms, expense reimbursements, deductions
  • Participate to the yearend activities for the Canadian and US payroll and ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Process all regular, premiums, vacation pay, allowances, increases, retroactive, commission, adjustments and other special payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Calculation and reconciliation of vacation, compensation and sick leave banks and payments.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of payroll and benefits functions for audit purposes, in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Input new hires, rehires and terminations and make any changes regarding employee records (change of address, income taxes, bank account, benefits administration, etc.).
  • Generate and process records of employment, income tax forms, remittances and cheque requests.
  • Perform a variety of statistical tasks and clerical duties.

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of payroll, accounting or administrative experience
  • Strong analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
  • High level of proficiency with Excel
  • Experience with ADP an asset
  • US payroll experience an asset
  • Bilingual an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months
