Oakville Wellness Center, is a faith-based organization offering therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of difficulties.

Oakville shares both office space and an administrative team with Maplecrest Church, a charismatic evangelical church.

Oakville Wellness Center's mission is to help clients work through their life challenges in a safe environment, honouring their integrity and belief systems.

Maplecrest Church exists to share the love of Jesus Christ through Biblical teaching and demonstrating love in action.


Guided by their core values of collaboration, hospitality, excellence, respect, and a faith in Jesus Christ, both organizations are looking for a shared receptionist/admin assistant.

This position will assist the office manager in the day to day operations.

The right person should be able to demonstrate attention to detail and work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

The receptionist will be the first point of contact for new clients and this person should be able to demonstrate empathy, convey confidence that therapy works, and help new clients choose their therapist.

While Oakville has three locations, this position will primarily work at our Pembina location Pembina Hwy). However, this position will also have some responsibilities at 553 St. Mary's Rd and 125 St. Anne's Rd.

Admin Responsibilities:


  • Greet and register clients.
  • Answer phones, assist clients, and book appointments.
  • Process client payments.
  • Ensure the reception area, kitchen, and therapy offices are clean and stocked with supplies.
  • Bringing supplies to and ensuring cleanliness of the St. Mary's & St. Anne's office locations.
  • Maintain client database and files.
  • Social media.
  • Filing, photocopying, billing, data entry, and other office tasks.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum Grade 12 education, but post secondary degree/diploma is preferred.
  • Reception experience.
  • Professional appearance and mature attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills with a proficiency in English.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work independently.
  • Experience working in a highly confidential information.
  • Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check required.

Job Type:
Part-time


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
