FULL-TIME STORE MANAGER AT MARCHE CENTRAL

DESCRIPTION:

New men and women's fashion store; position stating August 1st, 2023.

What we expect from you:


The store manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.

The duties include motivating sales teams with great customer service as well as creating business strategies, developing promotional material, and training new staff.

We are looking for a professional and customer service-oriented store manager to oversee daily operations at our store. As the store manager, you will supervise the operational and organizational standards of the store.

Your duties will include undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels, and developing business strategies.

In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.


STORE MANAGER RESPONSABILITIES:


  • Ensure strategic goals and sales targets of the store are met by maximizing sales and gross profit, reviewing sales performance, controlling expenses, and managing inventory.
  • Drive customer service excellenceto every aspect of the store, including store appearance, display of merchandise, product placement, story layout, and selling procedures.
  • Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, providing feedback to store staff and performance evaluations.
  • Responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Hire, train, develop, and supervise staff.
  • Coordinate daily staffing and staffing schedules.
  • Ensure the store complies with outlined safety policies and procedures, as well as health regulations.
  • Developing and arranging promotional materials and instore displays.
  • Preparing detailed reports on sales, customer requirements, and profits.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of all store operations, including the timely submission of all personal paperwork, preparing, and submitting reports, and monitoring sales receipts and cash.
  • Monitor stock and inventory and perform quality assurance of merchandise on a regular basis.

STORE MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent qualification.
  • 35 years of retail sales required; retail management experience and a college degree preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
  • Customer serviceoriented with indepth knowledge of basic business management processes.
  • Basic math skills sufficient to complete orders, calculate inventory, manage cash registers, and detailed report analysis.
  • Able to give clear directions and set expectations for staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example.
  • Some heavy lifting over 30 pounds
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
  • Proficient with the Shopify Retail platform.
  • Must be bilingual, English, and French.
