Your Role and Responsibilities

This position resides in Toronto, ON and is a 4 month work term commencing in May 2023. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term.
As a member of IBM's Consulting business, you will focus on partnering with our Insurance clients.

You will be a core member of the team working to transform the industry through enablement of data and digital capabilities to modernize customer interactions and back-office operations.

Your day-to-day will involve working within a team to deliver to client outcomes, assist our practice in pursuing sales opportunities and contributing to our brand eminence as thought leaders via research and publication on relevant industry trends


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Data Analysis (e.g., data modelling, risk modelling)
  • Business Analysis
  • Financial analysis
  • Presentation skills
  • Must be eligible to work 4 months starting in May 2023

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Relevant academic background in understanding of business concepts, Actuarial Science or technology (e.g., engineering, computer science)
  • Consulting experiences an asset (year 3 students)
  • Project management

Location Statement

This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions.
