What You Will Do
- Provide up to date communication and photos to Project Manager and Production Scheduler regarding the status of work
- Manage on site emergency response under asbestos abatement protocols
- Build effective containment chambers and negative air flow
- Work collaboratively with the Hazmat crews
- Set up necessary drying equipment as per industry protocols
- Monitor drying process and adjust/remove equipment as required
- Refer any questions from property owners or adjusters to the Project Manager
- Fill out and submit all necessary paperwork related to each job in a timely manner
- Ensure work sites are kept safe and clean of debris upon completion of job
What You Have
- Moderate Risk Certification
- High Risk Certification (considered an asset)
- 3+ years of experience in restoration/abatement
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean Criminal Record Check
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract
- Superior customer service skills and utmost professionalism with clients
- Knowledge of construction related hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of building materials and basic construction fundamentals
- Experience driving and parking a cube truck or full sized van (considered an asset)
- Able to work on call shifts on rotation basis
