What You Will Do

  • Provide up to date communication and photos to Project Manager and Production Scheduler regarding the status of work
  • Manage on site emergency response under asbestos abatement protocols
  • Build effective containment chambers and negative air flow
  • Work collaboratively with the Hazmat crews
  • Set up necessary drying equipment as per industry protocols
  • Monitor drying process and adjust/remove equipment as required
  • Refer any questions from property owners or adjusters to the Project Manager
  • Fill out and submit all necessary paperwork related to each job in a timely manner
  • Ensure work sites are kept safe and clean of debris upon completion of job

What You Have

  • Moderate Risk Certification
  • High Risk Certification (considered an asset)
  • 3+ years of experience in restoration/abatement
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Clean Criminal Record Check
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • Superior customer service skills and utmost professionalism with clients
  • Knowledge of construction related hand tools and power tools
  • Knowledge of building materials and basic construction fundamentals
  • Experience driving and parking a cube truck or full sized van (considered an asset)
  • Able to work on call shifts on rotation basis
