    Description

    We're seeking a Project Manager for our clients' Transmission & Distribution global practice to support capital engineering and construction programs encompassing electric transmission, substation, and communication projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare proposals, engage in contract negotiations, and assist in presentations.
    • Manage projects from inception to completion, including site selection, environmental assessments, procurement, and closeout.
    • Develop and monitor project schedules, control costs, and manage project scope.
    • Handle internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, risk management, and change management.
    • Act as the primary point of contact with clients, ensuring satisfaction, and managing subcontractors.
    • Oversee project communication and implement project policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with the Project Team to ensure client satisfaction and compliance with quality standards.
    • Review and approve internal and external reports, including budgeting and project status reports.
    • Facilitate project cost reporting, scheduling, and field progress tracking.
    • Manage materials receiving and management processes, including inventory control and transportation.
    • Review contract documents to ensure compliance with safety, health, quality, and schedule requirements.
    • Adhere to company safety programs and promote safety performance among project team members and subcontractors.
    • Regularly report on project progress, costs, procurement issues, safety, and environmental concerns.
    • Participate in design discussions and address any issues requiring office support.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, construction management, or related field.
    • Strong project management experience, preferably in energy or transmission & distribution industries.
    • Professional Engineering (PENG) registration preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
    • Ability to lead change, manage project teams, and think strategically.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software.
    • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Flexibility to handle high work volumes and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to travel and possess a valid driver's license.
