Role Summary
This position supports resource planning activities including creating safe, cost-effective staffing plans for Customer Service at Horizon Air.
As a member of the Customer Service team, this individual contributor role ensures compliance with company standards and work rules on a system-wide basis and provides operational support for staff and gate planning.
Key Duties
- Focus on utilizing flight schedules, staff forecasting, and gate planning guidelines and tools to design costeffective, efficient and activitybased staffing plans/shift bids for Agents in our Canadian locations.
- Follow established procedures, and conduct research to make informed recommendations to ensures staff plans and agent bids follow company standards and collective bargaining agreements.
- Support annual budget process by preparing and analyzing staffing projections and efficiency options for Agents.
- Monitor draft flight schedules to ensure efficient Agent staffing levels and project hiring needs.
- Provide input on staffing levels for Horizon stations. Travel to supported stations as needed or recommended to Station Managers and learn station specific staffing requirements.
- Perform adhoc analyses, and complete projects as needed and assigned.
- Support station operations by assisting with PTO, sick, etc. coverage needs.

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
- 2 years of experience in Airlines operational experience, or related area.
- Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite:
Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Superior problem solving, planning, and analytical skills with the ability to develop efficient solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (e.g., verbal, written, presentation) skills, with the ability to create collaborative relationships and tactfully communicate with others.
- Detailoriented and highly organized with the ability to manage and execute on multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work a parttime, inoffice work schedule.
- Highly enthusiastic, team oriented and selfmotivated.
- Willing to travel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Ability to travel to the USA for various trainings, meetings, etc.
Preferred
- Experience building work schedules with a bias for efficiency and productivity.
- Currently qualified as a QX PSA but not required.
Airport SIDA Badge Requirements
Important update for non-crew employees working at an airport or maintenance hangar: Employees will be required to obtain a SIDA badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing in order to keep their SIDA badge.

Starting Rate
CAD $21.73/Hr.
