    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Execution the vision and strategy representing some of our most strategic client direct relationships.
  • Create and drive a strategic plan to achieve revenue goals through existing business growth and seek out new customers to build on the platform.
  • Communicate the value of our media buying platform by aligning The Trade Desk's media buying philosophy with our client's.
  • Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering
  • Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs.
  • Work cross-functionally with global client services and trading teams to cultivate accounts.
  • Communicate the value of The Trade Desk media buying platform through detailed demonstrations of the product.
  • Make a positive contribution to The Trade Desk company culture.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and revenue teams to constantly optimize efforts relating to company-wide goals.
    WHO YOU ARE:We are looking for a commercially savvy, senior sales individual to identify, grow, and nurture key clients. You'll need a proven track record of delivering results, building relationships, and collaborating with other teams as you'll be working with some of our most strategic clients.

    A proven track record in online advertising outbound sales
  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising role
  • Existing strong and trusted relationships with brand direct leadership
  • Experience establishing longstanding, consultative value-based client direct relationships.
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiation's ability, able to lead commercial negotiations for large global accounts.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to speak with C-level clients.
  • Passion for owning a room, closing deals, and getting wins.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • 5-10+ years of experience in digital advertising in outbound sales, preferably in programmatic
  • Outstanding sales leadership experience, with a track record of up selling and winning net new accounts.
  • Experience working with media agencies and brands.
  • Experience building longstanding, consultative client direct relationships.
  • Experience creating customer value and exceeding marketing and business objectives for partners.
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to manage commercial negotiations.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak with C-level clients.
  • Proven ability to manage within a matrix environment & collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roles preferred.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.     At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is$109,800—$201,200 USD
