BA Blacktop Ltd. is currently looking for an
Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Accounting team at our Surrey Office Location.
Job Purpose
The Accounts Receivable Clerk performs accounting and administrative duties that ensure accurate processing of financial information pertaining to products manufactured and sold both internally and externally by our Industry Production Sites.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Processing of A/R invoices: issuing invoices & credit notes, account reconciliations
- Assist in month end closing processes and procedures
- Occasionally assist with Reception relief
- Creating Sales Orders
- Invoicing plant materials sold to both internal and external customers
- Perform accounts payable transactions for raw material purchases used in production
- Calling clients for AR collection and reviewing customer accounts
- Record plant production data and perform stock adjustments and consumption analysis
- Send Statements as required to customers
- Answering to customer inquiries
Skills and Qualifications:
- Postsecondary courses or training in one or more of the following: accounting, business administration, software / programs (MS Office, SAP or other accounting software)
- 2+ years experience working in a billing specialist role
- Ability to analyse large sets of data
- High degree of familiarity with account receivable functions
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work toward and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Ability to multitask with ease
- Selfmotivated and excited to excel within a fastpaced company, comfortable adapting to and driving change
Location:
Surrey
