As the Manager, Finance Operations Business Solutions, you will work with a highly skilled and motivated team and your efforts and expertise will have a direct impact on framing and solving the challenges of a function seeking modernization and the development of a continuous improvement culture.

In this role you will act as a transformation squad leader, taking responsibility for driving change within key priority areas of finance operations, ensuring process design reflects current business strategy and supports the desire customer experience.

The Finance Operations Transformation Consultant will own projects from inception to execution, as well as provide post implementation support for process owners.

You will collaborate with teams across Element, inclusive of our Continuous Improvement and Automation specialist group, wider Finance teams, Commercial and Operations.

Based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs, recommends approaches or changes to streamline and integrate processes to improve overall efficiency.- Lead a team of mixed discipline resources to drive tangible change across key priority processes, adopting a flexible approach with management of resources.- Orchestrates the design, implementation, and implementation of process change, inclusive of post-implementation monitoring processes and KPIs of core Finance Operations processes.- Develop an understanding of organizational interactions and complexity to build effective relationships and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.- Leads or participates in defining the change/communication plan designed to positively influence or change behaviour; develops tailored messaging; and identifies appropriate distribution channels.- Monitors and tracks performance, anticipating and addresses any potential issues before they arise- Ensures the processes adhere to applicable risk, regulatory and compliance requirements inclusive of SOC compliant controls.- Collect stakeholder feedback following process re-engineering and identify areas that require further clarification/improvements.- Coach process owners and other stakeholders through best practices on process and information management during execution of process improvement.- Lead the development of business case models and presentations for client and internal stakeholders to assess the attractiveness of new programs.- Assist in the development of board-level and company-wide presentations & memos- Ability to work independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field of study
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience, or experience at a toptier management consulting firm.
  • Knowledge of datadriven analysis, project delivery practices and standards across a process improvement lifecycle, inclusive of experience managing the entire lifecycle of a project from initiation to closing.
  • Customer focused and results oriented, passionate about creating a bestinclass service and a bestinclass company.
  • Experience assessing process risk and implementing appropriate control mechanisms
  • Ability to manage finance project intake and prioritization with skills in ROI analysis.
  • Strong analytical background, including the ability to break down and work through complex problems in a structured manner, using both quantitative and qualitative methods
