SUMMARY:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understands and clearly communicates target consumer insight, attitudes, beliefs
Understands brand equity and positioning relative to competitive set & applies insights and understanding to new product plans
Collaborate crossfunctionally to develop business cases for new innovation ideas and charter new projects within the organization
Write exceptional product briefs in collaboration with R&D
Act as key innovation touchpoint and project lead through the development & commercialization of innovation projects.
Able to translate trends & insights into actionable recommendations for product solutions
Frequently communicates opportunities and risks to all areas of organization
Very strong business communications skills, ability to influence and detail orientation
Exhibit leadership and accountability; exhibit the ability to move a team towards a common goal through a respectful, collaborative approach

What Will Make You Successful in This Role:

Minimum 1.5 Years experience as an Assistant Brand Manager on a nationally-listed Brand, preferably in the food industry
A natural leader who is selfdriven and adaptable, with a cando attitude
Excellent written communication skills; you can succinctly & accurately capture a consumer insight or new product idea in 1 sentence.
Experienced leading new commercial product launches, meeting launch milestones and KPIs
P&L experience a must
Strong influencer and skillful collaborator among peers
Proficient in data analysis and use of Microsoft Excel. Experience with IRI, Nielsen, or SPINS
