Position Summary:
A Drafter will work individually and as part of a team to develop and execute revisions from the VP-Engineering, Structural Engineer and the Drafting Leader.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Prepare full and accurate structural drawings.
- Provide Bill of Materials to the Project Coordinator.
- Coordinate and monitor the construction plan review process to ensure accurate drawings. Make modifications and changes as required.
- Maintain and update drawings and files as required throughout the lifecycle of the construction project.
Required Education:
- A twoyear degree in Architectural or Engineering Computer Aided Drafting or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the field.
- Autodesk: AutoCAD 2017
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Computer, fax machine, telephone, calculator, printer, plotter, and copier
