The Opportunity:

***The primary purpose of the Supply Chain Management Program Coordinator involves curriculum development, ensuring effective educational delivery by all instructors teaching the program, thorough training and support for all faculty and ensuring that curriculum and course materials are effective and current.

The Instructor portion of the role involves teaching and facilitating courses to classes of students in the Supply Chain Management post-graduate certificate program.


What you'll be doing:


  • Take a leading role in curriculum development for courses within the program.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Manager, Instructional Designers, and other academic services staff in course development.
  • Create, update, and maintain instructor guides.
  • Train and support new instructors teaching the program in the Mississauga campus.
  • Update and/or create lesson plans and assignments to help students grasp course content and how it integrates with overall student learning outcomes for the course.
  • Ensure that curriculum updates are effectively communicated and reviewed with program faculty.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for other faculty regarding use of program specific software and equipment.
  • Prepare the agenda for and lead faculty calls with faculty members.
  • Review regularly and report on the adequacy and appropriateness of instructional materials (course guides, testing info, etc.).
  • Share best practices, lesson plans and materials with other faculty.
  • Instruct assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and learning objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned, and which are in the best interests of the College.

What you bring to the position:

  • A university degree in Business or a related field such as Supply Chain Management is required. Masters in a related field is preferred.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional is preferred.
  • Five (5) years of fulltime supply chain experience is required.
  • A minimum of two years' teaching experience in a postsecondary level institution is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including inspiration, motivation, and facilitation.
  • Ability to resolve student concerns and escalate accordingly.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds.
