Description
You will lead the supply chain management and planning team at our Trois-Rivières plant.
Leading your team, you'll ensure on-time production by making sure that materials are available as required according to delivery schedules.
By developing your team members, you'll also be helping to make our site an attractive employer in a competitive market.
What Will You Do?
- You will manage plant planning, matching customer orders with available production capacity.
- You will be responsible for the timely availability of materials on the production line.
- You will supervise supplier qualifications, negotiations and will negotiate key contracts yourself.
- You will prepare product forecasts and strategies in line with local requirements and Siemens Energy policies and strategies.
- You will contribute to our annual and quarterly planning and present the relevant KPIs for your area of responsibility.
- You will participate in the bidding process by overseeing proposed delivery dates and contributing information relating to the cost of materials.
- You will define inventory strategies for each parts group to optimize inventory levels.
- You will lead improvement projects for both operational processes and IT systems.
What will you need to succeed?
- College diploma in supply chain management, business administration or a technical field, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in a comparable position leading a supply chain management team
- Significant experience in the use of IT tools for MRP/ERP (ideally SAP) as well as the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- IT project management experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of English is an asset
- Fluency in French and basic skills in English
