***The Data & Analytics (DnA) function brings both quantitative and qualitative insights to the entire company (including all game teams) through Studio Analytics, Data Engineering and Data Science. We develop and improve our Studio's data technical capabilities to bring data insights right to the studio partners' fingertips.

***The Data Technology team is looking for a hands-on Technical Director with a strong technical background and leadership experience. Reporting to the Technical Director of Data Technology, you will lead our software engineering team in developing our internal developer platform, aimed at enabling data users to create and manage data products more efficiently, transparently, and cost-effectively. This platform will serve as our data infrastructure-as-a-service

What you'll do

Direct a team of experienced data and software engineers in the design, development, and deployment of our datacentric internal developer platform
Foster a collaborative, successoriented, and accountable environment within the team
Mentor and guide team members, facilitating their professional growth and technical proficiency
Ensure adherence to established coding standards and robust software engineering practices within the development team
Build and maintain trusted relationships with strategic partners and clients
Collaborate with infrastructure, architects and product teams to deliver high value solution
Manage technical risks and opportunities
Participate directly in the coding, testing, and debugging phases of the platform development process
Perform code reviews, ensuring the delivery of highquality, maintainable, and robust code
Lead problemsolving and technical decisionmaking, serving as the primary point of contact for complex technical issues
Keep updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in data infrastructure development and integrate them into operations and activities
Recruit, motivate, mentor and lead elite data and software engineering team members
Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization

Ideally you have

Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent degree
Minimum of 8 years of software development experience
Minimum of 5 years managing highly technical resources and engineers
Ability to translate business concepts into a technical architecture
Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and develop roadmaps
Passionate about data and technology with focus on customer satisfaction
Excellent personal organization, ability to prioritize, proactively drive projects to completion
Experience developing new talent

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations.

If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

BASE SALARY RANGES

British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs.

Victoria):
o $114,050 - $185,250 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.

Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
