As ATB's next Agriculture Underwriter, you will evaluate and assess client risk and ability to repay debt obligations on behalf of the bank as part of the lending process.

Responsibilities:

Makes sound credit decisions for clients
Partner in first line of defense for risk management
Assesses risk and profitability, maintains accounts, underwrites credit and ensures optimum client servicing
Ensures overall loan quality and supporting documentation is within the acceptable ATB measures and identifies all crossselling opportunities while maintaining adherence to established service level agreements
Analyzes financial statements, assesses risk and determines which ATB products and services best meet the needs of the client
Focuses on producing high volume and quality of loans

Requirements:

Business or accounting degree or diploma or related business experience
1+ years experience in primary production OR agriculture lending/loan underwriting
Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong negotiation skills
