$62,300 - $112,300
Purpose
This role is responsible for evaluating and improving business processes through extensive data analysis. This role involves working closely with various departments to identify operational inefficiencies, develop strategies for improvement, and implement solutions. The Senior Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that business operations are aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accountability, inventory, and maintenance of all Operations systems hardware, software, and radio frequency (RF) equipment, ensuring the efficient operation of the department.
- Acts as a Region Operations Liaison for Operation systems upgrades.
- Collaborate with local and corporate resources to schedule and complete system enhancements
- Trains users in Operations hardware and/or software systems.
- Recommends Operations systems hardware and software upgrades within Company guidelines.
- Reviews and manages service contracts as necessary.
- Develops and provides reports for management as directed.
- Typical requests consist of consolidating information from various sources to provide executive summaries, trends, metrics, etc. (labor costs, accuracy, results, etc.)
- Analyze data, identifies opportunities and propose actions to increase the effectiveness of the Operations departments.
- Communicates with all other areas of the company as necessary and provides Operations information and reports as requested.
- Collaborates with the Transportation Department and the Inbound and Outbound Warehouse management staff to maximize productivity.
- Serves as essential personnel in times of catastrophic events and emergencies (hurricane, facility malfunction, etc.) locally and/or at other operating companies as required.
- Performs management functions of staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews and/or terminations if required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
Skills
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure; compute rate, ratio, and percent; uses whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; demonstrates a general understanding of financial terminology and concepts.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Demonstrates excellent subject matter knowledge of, experience with and ability to learn Sysco technology software and programs and/or equivalent products. (i.e. Sysco Warehouse Management System (SWMS), Sysco Order Selection system (SOS), Sysco Loading System (SLS), slotting system, cubing, load mapping, Sysco Transportation System (STS), onboard computer system, routing software, safe driver behavior modification management software, engineered standards, business metrics reporting, incentive pay reporting, spreadsheet software, word processing software, SAP and/or other systems as identified.
- Proficient in the use of all tools of the trade.
Education
Bachelor's degree in related discipline.

Responsabilités

- Sert de liaison régionale pour les mises à niveau des systèmes d'Opérations.
- Collabore avec les ressources locales et corporatives pour planifier et réaliser les améliorations des systèmes.
- Offre la formation aux utilisateurs concernant le matériel et/ou les logiciels des Opérations.
- Recommande des mises à niveau matérielles et logicielles des systèmes des Opérations, conformément aux lignes directrices de l'entreprise.
- Examine et gère, au besoin, les contrats de service.
- Prépare et fournit les rapports requis à la direction.
- Effectue des demandes typiques incluant la consolidation d'informations provenant de diverses sources afin de produire des résumés exécutifs, des tendances, des indicateurs de performance, etc. (coûts de main-d'œuvre, exactitude, résultats, etc.).
- Analyse les données, identifie les opportunités et propose des actions visant à augmenter l'efficacité des départements des Opérations.
- Communique avec les autres secteurs de l'entreprise au besoin et fournit l'information et les rapports opérationnels requis.
- Collabore avec le département du Transport et les équipes de gestion de l'entrepôt — réception et expédition — afin de maximiser la productivité.
- Agit comme personnel essentiel lors d'événements catastrophiques et d'urgences (ouragans, défaillances d'installations, etc.) localement et/ou dans d'autres divisions, au besoin.
- Assure les fonctions de gestion liées à la sélection du personnel, au développement, aux mesures disciplinaires, aux évaluations de rendement et/ou aux cessations d'emploi, si nécessaire.
- Effectue toute autre tâche assignée par la direction.
Compétences
- Capacité à rédiger des rapports, de la correspondance d'affaires et des manuels de procédures.
- Capacité à présenter efficacement de l'information et à répondre aux questions provenant de groupes de gestionnaires, de clients, de consommateurs et du grand public.
- Capacité à additionner, soustraire, multiplier et diviser dans toutes les unités de mesure; calculer des taux, ratios et pourcentages; utiliser les nombres entiers, fractions et décimales; démontrer une compréhension générale de la terminologie et des concepts financiers.
- Capacité à résoudre des problèmes pratiques et à composer avec diverses variables concrètes dans des situations où il existe peu de standardisation.
- Capacité à interpréter différents types d'instructions fournies sous forme écrite, orale, de schéma ou d'horaire.
- Excellente connaissance du domaine, expérience pertinente et capacité d'apprendre les logiciels et programmes technologiques de Sysco ou leurs équivalents (p. ex. : SWMS, SOS, SLS, systèmes d'emplacement, cubage, cartographie de chargement, STS, systèmes informatiques embarqués, logiciels d'itinéraires, logiciels de gestion du comportement des conducteurs, normes ingénieriques, rapports de mesures opérationnelles, rapports d'incitatifs, logiciels de tableur, traitement de texte, SAP ou autres systèmes identifiés).

Baccalauréat dans une discipline connexe.
