About this opportunity:


As a member of Celestica's Brand and Marketing Communications team, the
Corporate Communications and Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting employee communications programs, social media and marketing communications activities.

- oriented and thrives in a collaborative team environment with a high level of energy. Proficiency in Google Docs is required and social media dashboard experience would be an asset.


Activities:

The Corporate Communications and Marketing Intern will support various communications programs and initiatives including:

  • Managing the company's intranet, creating compelling content and managing updates.
  • Assisting in the development of marketing communications collateral including writing, managing translations and distribution.
  • Working with the social media lead in executing social media strategies, creating social media content, creating SEO optimized blog posts and managing social media campaigns.
  • Conducting competitor analysis, research and monitoring, identifying trends that support our communications objectives.
  • Supporting the planning, coordination and execution of a variety of employee events, such as company town halls and engagementbuilding activities
  • Coordinating tradeshow and conference planning and execution.
  • Assisting with budget management, including invoice processing and tracking, and creating purchase orders.
  • Undertaking special projects and other duties as required.

Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
