    Reliability Engineer
    Salary Range: $98,100 - $119,900 per year
    Location: Prince George

    Safety

  • Lead with the value of owning safety through every action and decision in the and through positive influence on all stakeholders.
  • Participate in the vetting process of any process safety changes.
  • Ensure personal safe work practices are in place and always followed.
  • Adhere to company and legislative requirements around the Owning Safety Program.
  • Reliability:

  • Develop and implement equipment asset plans using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and other reliability techniques.
  • Apply engineering theory and practice to perform physical failure analysis, determine root cause of equipment failures and conduct equipment performance evaluations
  • Analyze equipment trends & historical data to recommend and justify improvements to obtain lowest lifecycle cost.
  • Subject Matter Expert in the design and operation of rotating equipment, development of equipment strategies (including lubrications, conditions monitoring, and preventive maintenance), and management of mechanical integrity (including tanks, pressure vessels, and piping)
  • Determine how process variation and equipment operation can impact equipment reliability
  • Promote consistency by standardizing equipment procedures & operations within area of responsibility.
  • Support capital projects by participating in setting equipment criteria and specifications to optimize equipment/system reliability and life cycle cost. Also provide technical support for fabrication, installation, and start-up of new critical equipment.
  • Participate in production turn-around/shutdown teams providing input into needed equipment inspection and repair procedures
  • Participate in maintenance and reliability networks, sharing best practices, successes and failures.
  • Develop and implement plans for continuous improvement of production equipment, processes and process controls
  • Provide technical and engineering support and troubleshooting advice to maintenance and various operational areas.
  • Skills, Abilities and Educational Requirements

  • 5 years of experienceas a reliability professional in an industrial setting.
  • Experience with Reliability Improvement tools (Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Preventive/Predictive maintenance, and KPIs
  • Ability to understand and resolve technical difficulties
  • Lean/Six Sigma background preferred · Organized leader with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Engaging, demonstrating an ability to manage and influence diverse or challenging stakeholders · Excellent organizational and motivational skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • IT skills using various Microsoft products including Excel, Word, Project, SharePoint et c.
