    Your Role

    We're looking for a Project Manager who is seeking the right opportunity to leverage their skills in the infrastructure services sector with the Atlantic Team. You bring previous experience leading and delivering infrastructure projects that vary in scope and complexity in at least one of the following concentrations: water and wastewater, renewable energy, and/or ports and marine. You've become known as a trusted advisor to your clients and have built strong, lasting relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop strong client relationships and act as the client's single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client's goals and objectives
    2. Lead programs or work and large capital projects, varying in size, complexity, and scope
    3. Manage all stakeholders including clients and consultants
    4. Ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded on all projects and the client's best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issues
    5. Select and organize project teams and establish levels of authority and lines of communication
    6. Lead the control of project-related documents and deliver all work in accordance and compliance with Colliers Project Leaders Quality Management System and procedures
    7. Chair project and site meetings, find resolution to issues and effectively coordinate among multiple stakeholders
    8. Maintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Principal or Regional Vice President
    9. Regularly report on project status by means of schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records, and other reports
    10. Provide oversight and leadership to the change management process, payment certificates, and other contract or project-related administrative documents

    Qualifications:

    • A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, or quantity surveying (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
    • 5 - 7 years of project management experience, representing owners in the delivery of building developments
    • Demonstrable experience in the initiation, planning, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects
    • Experience in one or more of the following sectors is an asset:
      • Water and Wastewater
      • Renewable Energy
      • Ports and Marine
    • Strong understanding of best practice Project Management methodologies and procedures within a PMO environment
    • Effective client management and people management skills matched with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client and technical issues
    • Detail-oriented leader with the ability to work in a process-driven environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word), and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications
    • P. Eng or PMP designation are an asset
