    Responsibilities

    We pioneer the development of machines dedicated to capturing and storing atmospheric CO2 permanently. With recent legislative support guaranteeing a price of $ per metric ton of CO2 removed through Direct Air Capture until , we seize the opportunity to revolutionize carbon capture technology within the United States.

    Role

    As a Carbon Capture Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of our carbon capture systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating in the development of a comprehensive process flow diagram for the system and overseeing the sizing and sourcing of components through P&ID.
  • Demonstrating versatility by quickly adapting to address unfamiliar problems and challenges within the system.
  • Employing creative problem-solving to devise unconventional solutions aimed at significantly reducing costs and exploring opportunities for in-house development.
  • Engaging with CAD design engineers to refine both macro and micro system arrangements.
  • Conducting thorough analysis of the entire system, including peripheral areas, to identify opportunities for enhancing carbon capture efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Identifying areas within the system that would benefit from research and development, establishing fundamental understandings and proposing innovative solutions for improvement.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience in process engineering, particularly in designing and optimizing complex systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and experience collaborating with CAD design engineers.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to solve challenging problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
