As an Engineering Manager 2 in our Toronto hub, you will lead a dynamic team, drive AI-powered projects, and contribute to our mission of accelerating small businesses' velocity through intelligent solutions.     These are the key ways you'll contribute and create impact in this role:

    • Oversee a team of software engineers, providing guidance and mentorship while fostering an environment that encourages innovation and high standards.
    • Drive the development and implementation of strategic AI systems that align with organizational goals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
    • Foster AI fluency within your team, encouraging the continuous exploration and implementation of AI tools and methodologies.
    • Develop and maintain a roadmap for team projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery of solutions.
    • Ensure compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards within all engineering practices.

    The Foundation for Success

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

    Strong organizational and project management skills.

    Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.

    Proven ability to mentor and develop technical teams.

    Experience leading AI projects and initiatives is a strong plus.
