About the Job
The
entry-level Junior Project Manager role is the key point of contact for a portfolio of customer projects.

In this role, you will be ensuring specific deliverables are consistent with the customer's project, objectives are communicated, managed, and delivered.

You will guide, analyze, validate, document, plan, manage, and understand customer needs to accurately align our Solutions Team to the business objectives of the customer.

You will act as the primary point of contact for projects to provide guidance, project updates and reporting for the customer.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate Convverge's technical team's activities to manage and implement new customers' IT solutions.
  • Manage stakeholder needs, especially when conflicting, to drive stakeholders to a consensus.
  • Control and manage project requirements, scope, and change management issues and constantly communicate appropriate information as needed to ensure a correct path for the project with appropriate documented approvals.
  • Determine, monitor, and review all project/program economics to include costs, operational budgets, resourcing requirements, and identified risks.
  • Produce detailed documentation to support project teams including business requirements, governance plans, communications, and training materials.
  • Work with technical teams to turn enduser and business requirements into solution design and implementation plans.
  • Manage and verify the fulfillment of requirements through testing and quality assurance.
  • Work with Convverge account management and senior management teams on project/program proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules, ensuring adherence to legally binding requirements and customers' longterm business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and trust with stakeholders, project teams and project leaders.
  • Strong teamoriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Additional Qualification and Experience

  • Proficient with the Microsoft 365 suite of products (Word, Excel, OneNote etc.)
  • Experience with SharePoint and the Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agent, Power BI) is an asset.
