Registered Social Worker or Psychotherapist

In-Person EAP Counselling

Kanata, Ottawa, ON

Reporting to the Regional Clinical Supervisor, the EAP Counsellor will provide confidential counselling services to clients, helping them navigate personal and workrelated challenges.
Our Counsellors:

Engage in solutionfocused therapy, supporting a range of clients dealing with complex life challenges.
Support clients in taking an active role in the change process by working from a strengthbased approach.
Provide excellent clinical services and embrace the TELUS Health culture of continuous learning.
Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by TELUS Health's clinical models.
Participate in meetings with peers and leadership as required

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field, Minimum five (5) years of postmasters clinical experience, Membership in goodstanding with the Ontario College of Social Workers & Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) Certification or training in Solution Focused Therapy considered an asset. Previous experience supporting clients in a limited number of sessions with various presenting concerns, including mental health, addictions, work related stress, etc. Experience working with diverse client groups including children, youth, couples, and families. Familiarity with EAP programs and services. Additional certifications or training in other evidencebased therapies. What TELUS Health can offer you:
