SCOPE OF POSITION: Effectively support the F&B team by assisting with all aspects of the tender program, purchasing process and ensure all products are budgeted, delivered, tracked, and distributed effectively.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist Manager with purchasing, tendering negotiations, warehousing, and deliveries for the Food & Beverage Division
  • Oversee the seasonal hiring, training, and development
  • Ensure scheduling of deliveries and preparations of orders are completed effectively
  • Assist Manager with suppliers to ensure service levels, quality controls, pricing meet expectations
  • Assists with maintaining supplies and equipment as needed
  • Assists with the administration for all pertinent systems (Food Trac, POS, audit program(s), training manuals and documentation)
  • Work with other Departments as required to ensure Warehouse is operating effectively
  • Keeps abreast of industry trends, innovations and practices driving actionable results
  • Assists with recommendations regarding unit storage set up as needed
  • Ensure warehouse is operating safety and all training records and protocols are maintained and documented
  • Adheres to and enforces all Division and Company policies and procedures, including safety, attendance policies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment
  • All other duties/projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary certificate or degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) designation and asset
  • Proven record in a leadership role assisting with purchasing/coordination for a highvolume warehouse
  • Commitment to excellence in service with proven ability to maintain significant attention to detail
  • Prior experience with pricing, negotiating, COS, analysis, and reporting for a largescale food operation is an asset
  • Must be a purposeful problem solving that remains focused on the bottom line and business results
  • Understanding of food production/culinary arts, administration, and related systems
  • Prior experience with Food Trac an asset
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills and proficiency with Word and Excel programs
  • Must have a valid Driver's Licence
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs
