You're a creative and innovative leader who leads by example.
As the Executive Chef at Save-on Foods Memorial Centre, you play a critical role in our guest's experience, providing oversight and leadership to the venue's kitchen operations.
You leverage your strong organizational and communication skills to hire, coach and train the kitchen teams while continuously identifying ways to serve up improvements to our food service operations.
Driven by a desire to inspire and motivate, you confidently deal with ambiguity, ensuring that our kitchens and food preparation areas are operating with the highest levels of quality and safety, our relationships with suppliers are successful and the food ordering is impeccable.
To qualify for this fantastic opportunity, you have your cooks' trade qualified certificate with Interprovincial Red Seal or equivalent, possess excellent working knowledge of kitchen policies and procedures and have your current Food Safe Level 2 certification.
For bonus points, you have experience in high volume kitchens that are feeding large events like we host at the centre.
