Title of the Position:
Concrete Finisher

Main duties:

Set forms, pour, smooth and finish concrete sidewalks, roads, curbs etc. using hand/powered floats, hand/powered towels and other equipment
Bolt, nail, align and block under forms
Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
All other relevant tasks

Permanent Full Time

Wage:
$47.05/hour

Location of Work:
Different job sites in and around the Greater Toronto Area.

Job and Skill Requirements:

3 years of experience as a concrete finisher;
Physically demanding work, handling heavy loads up to 23 kg, team player, bending, crouching and kneeling;
Attention to detail and Manual dexterity required.

Salary:
$47.05 per hour
