Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist to join our practice.

As a psychologist at MCA, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments, formulate treatment plans, and deliver psychotherapy to individuals across the lifespan.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct intake interviews and psychological assessments.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and recommendations tailored to the clients' individual needs.
  • Provide evidencebased treatments using a range of modalities (e.g., cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) etc.
  • Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in Ontario.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting conducting psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments and providing treatment.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to formulate treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidencebased practices for treating a range of mental health disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
