- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on equipment and communicate parts needed for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs to the Purchasing Department
- Follow all safety regulations and codes while working alone or in a team
- Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and maintain accurate records
- Suggest changes, modifications, or enhancements to improve equipment reliability and performance
- Support weekly production targets
- Demonstrate expertise in lockout procedures, fall protection, and confined spaces protocols
- Utilize necessary equipment, protective gear, or attire as outlined by the company
- Complete tasks assigned by Supervisors and Managers
- Possible overtime and on-call availability
- Qualifications:
- Licensed Millwright with 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Mechanical & Electrical skills with practical experience in equipment assembly, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting
- Previous involvement in developing and implementing Preventative Maintenance programs
- Familiarity with window and door manufacturing equipment
- Proficiency in using various power and hand tools
- Meet performance targets, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Pay close attention to prevent injuries
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
- Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Experience with height operations and equipment
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Forklift operation experience is beneficial
- Electrical and welding experience are assets
- Adaptability and willingness to work in dynamic environments
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices is advantageous

Salary: $42.93/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm & 4.00pm to 1.00am rotation
Overview:
As a Millwright reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be accountable for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various industrial equipment to ensure continuous operation, minimize downtime, and enhance cost-effective practices in a multi-shift setting. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to reach objectives independently, and dedicated to enhancing the facility, equipment, and processes continuously.
The Millwright must consistently contribute to the company's profitability and ongoing operations by suggesting and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
