Inside Sales

Summary

  • Reporting to the Director, the Inside Sales representative works together with the sales team to achieve the annual sales budget through the promotion of Artspan products. This will be accomplished by working together with the Regional Sales Managers, dealers, and customers. He/she handles inbound sales queries, quoting and project management.

Job Duties

  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from advertising inquiries, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Provide product demos and factory tours on request to qualified customers.
  • Emphasize saleable features, quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales orders for orders obtained.
  • Develop an efficient method of follow up on all quotations.
  • Maintain accurate, complete and timely sales information.
  • Overcome business and technical objections of prospective customers.
  • Address customer concerns in a professional, productive, and timely manner.
  • Handle inbound sales calls to convert calls into sales.
  • Accurately estimate date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of Artspan production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare and keep dealer data base current and assist the Regional Sales Managers
  • Work with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature current, accurate, and complete.
  • Investigate and professionally resolve customer complaints regarding deliveries.
  • Work together with the end user or dealer to ensure that the orientation and layout of a project is correct and approved in a timely manner.
  • Draw and provide customers with concept drawings using basic sketching software.
  • Attend trade shows as required.
  • Complete other duties as necessary.

Requirements:


  • Grade twelve education
  • Technical or post secondary education a benefit
  • Experience in building construction, sales and/or drafting a benefit
  • High level of proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM software packages
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract sales and maintain customer relationships
  • Solid negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
  • Knowledge of cost analysis and budgeting techniques.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
