The Director, Product Development is a key role focused on driving success in our product lines.Beyond product development, the Director also serves as the point of contact for all development and pre-production matters, playing a crucial role in sales activities.
Manage and maintain a comprehensive calendar of events, both internal and external, ensuring effective coordination and timely execution for apparel product developmentCollaborate with sourcing on factory allocation, design execution, vendor matrix, ensuring optimal cost, quality and delivery efficiency and resource utilization for apparel manufacturing
Oversee the initiation and facilitation of the sampling process, with a specialized focus on garment fit and fabric quality
Manage sample approvals for licensed apparel products and buyer samples
A very well-organized professional with excellent planning skills with high prioritization ability working on multiple projects at the same time
Willingness to travel to visit domestic and overseas suppliers as required
Excellent computer skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
BFA or BA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field
English, additional language(s) an advantage
