We are currently looking for a Administrative Assistant IV to join our Accounts Payable team in a Permanent position.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, you will provide administrative support to the Finance Management Team and Accounts Payable group.

The role requires good judgment, excellent attention to detail skills, initiative, confidentiality, and the ability to meet deadlines.

The incumbent will be required to perform at a high level of competency with independence and the ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment.


As Administrative Assistant IV:


You will provide support to the Accounts Payable Department with Vendor Maintenance, specifically independent validation of information provided by suppliers and entering/updating information into the Oracle system and assisting with the weekly payment runs.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with all levels of internal/external customers is required.
Attention to detail and organization are vital for this role.
You will also be accountable for administrative support to the Finance Management Team.

You will be responsible for maintaining filing systems, share point sites, arranging meetings and events, word processing and spreadsheet development, processing invoices for payment, preparing electronic presentations, updating payroll, and other general administrative support duties.

You will also be accountable for tracking/reporting/following up on the Finance team's Safety and Environmental Programs.

You will be responsible for their personal safety and that of co-workers, by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules Regulations.

You will be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives.

What skills will make you successful?


This position requires a minimum of Grade XII education and a recognized Administration and/or Business Certificate (or equivalent) with a minimum of three (3) years of experience.

You are a detailed-oriented individual who works to a high standard and have strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and communications skills are required as well.
