Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
Thorough knowledge of the EMR system, we use Accuro/ QHR technologies.
- Handle phone inquiries and route calls appropriately
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures
- Experience with electronic medical records systems, preferably Accuro
- Previous work experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical receptionist duties is required
- Ability to operate office equipment and phone systems effectively
