Must be eligible to work in Canada.

This is an on-site position.

As the Parts Technician for Lawson Sales, you are the key contact point for many of our customers.

A normal day will have you dealing with walk-in customers & phone inquiries, and troubleshooting parts issues on a range of agriculture, turf, and green equipment.

You will handle all purchase orders, work oversee the inventory levels, and sell retail products.

This job requires an ability to work with our inventory software systems and work as part of our Lawson Team.


In a typical day, YOU will:

  • Taking a proactive approach to inventory control by assisting and reporting discrepancies.
  • Ensuring internal and external customers receive the correct parts in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining the retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed the Dealership's standards
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the parts department and parts warehouse.
  • Record all sales and customer transactions using the companyprovided system, tools (Intellidealer), and guidelines.
  • Study and stay current on industry and product information.
  • Attend training and Parts Department meetings as required.
  • Treat Customers with the utmost respect and exert a positive "can do" attitude.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels and part numbers.
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments of parts and products.
  • Quick turnaround of any parts that are on backorder for customers and the shop.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as needed to prevent shortages.
  • Assist with picking, packing, and shipping parts orders to the customer and or Shop.
  • Promote additional products or accessories to customers when applicable.
  • Achieve sales targets and goals set by the parts department or organization.
  • Participate in phone & marketing campaigns to promote the growth of parts sales.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Three years of knowledge in heavy equipment parts, automotive, industrial, or relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with parts catalogs and reference materials.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and provide exceptional service.
  • Precision in identifying and handling parts accurately.
  • Ability to multitask and manage inventory efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • The salesoriented mindset with the ability to upsell products.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets is a plus.
  • Some Overtime work is required during peak seasons.
  • Basic warehousing experience.
  • Shipping & receiving functions.
  • Picking & packing parts shipments.
  • Record keeping.
