Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Performs hand soldering operations in accordance with J-STD001 requirements for electronic products
  • Reads and follows manufacturing documents
  • Updates manufacturing records
  • Reports defects and Nonconforming materials (NCM)
  • Upholds 5S standard for continuous improvement
  • Able to interact with other cross functional teams
  • Follows Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safe handling practice
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment
  • Must adheres to company guidelines/policies/safety
  • Reports any safety concerns to direct superior or member of the Health and Safety committee.
  • Performs other duties as required.

  • Ability to work with microscopes and small components.
  • Ability to read manufacturing documentations (drawings and BOM's).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years handson experienced in soldering electronic products.
  • Handson experience with SMT, PTH, soldering, inspection and test.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • IPC-A610 certification including J-STD001, ISO, ESD handling, Health and Safety and WHMIS.
*Night shift position (4:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.)


Salary:
$19.80 per hour
