Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience as a Technical Sales Specialist in a cloud computing environment or a customerfacing role.

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Experience in largescale deployments, developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks, PaaS, and container orchestration systems.
Experience as a technical sales specialist or solutions specialist.

Responsibilities:

Work to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
Provide indepth enterprise infrastructure/cloud modernization expertise to support the technical relationship with Google's customers, including product and solution briefings, proofofconcept work, and partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
Structure and execute prototyping workshops to prove out new architectures, develop best practices, and document blocking requirements for prioritization with developing.
Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.
