Job Summary:


Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager will play a critical role in helping to develop and implement the overall digital marketing strategy for Distech Controls.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Support the marketing team in creating and executing local and global marketing campaigns to support sales growth and brand awareness goals.
  • Plan, develop and implement effective digital strategies (website, digital campaign, social networks, community management, SEM).
  • Define objectives and measure performance through effective segmentation and a deep understanding of our target verticals and customer personas.
  • Manage association relationships to ensure we are maximizing the benefits of lead generation and thought leadership efforts.
  • Own the tracking, campaign measurement, analytics, and dashboards for regular reporting.
  • Plan and execute A/B testing to optimize and improve our digital performance and costs over time.
  • Monitor and animate the various online communities daily.
  • Develop the editorial strategy, write, test, and optimize marketing copy for campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing team on the visual component of advertisements, and potentially designing ads yourself using Adobe solutions.
  • Provide leadership on digital marketing best practices and stay updated on new industry trends to keep our team on the edge of innovation.
  • Provide competitive intelligence and analysis of the market trends.
  • Work closely with other marketing team members on key initiatives and provide backup support or collaboration as needed.
  • Provide direction and coordinate with external vendors as needed.

Experience (minimum experience required):


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent.
  • 7 years minimum experience in web marketing and content creation/community management, B2B2C a plus.
  • Previous experience managing multichannel digital marketing campaigns in tech industry, startup organizations, or agency experience.
  • Rockstar written and verbal communication skills in both French and English; must possess the ability to develop hardhitting messaging and copy.
  • A power user of website and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, LinkedIn, HotJar, SEMRush, Drift, Salesforce, or Pardot.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to use data to optimize campaign performance and inform future strategies.
  • Experience setting up and optimizing campaigns on all major search engines.
  • Confidence in implementing and running A/B tests across copy, landing pages, and creative assets to increase engagement and conversion rates.
  • Detailoriented, with superior project management and followthrough skills.
  • Work well under pressure, in a fastpaced, highvolume, and often ambiguous/fastchanging environment, and effectively and professionally handle challenging issues.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints a plus.
  • Previous experience managing website development a plus.
  • Previous experience designing creative assets highly desired.
