Smith & Sons Remodeling Experts is currently seeking a highly-skilled Lead Carpenter in the Vernon, BC area.

Must live in Vernon, BC
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiar with working on renovation projects from start to finish
- Possess an eye for detail and organizational skills
- Maintain good communication with the project manager and team members
- Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specifications.
- Work well with all subcontractors on the job site
- Ensure that your daily and weekly tasks are completed efficiently
- Perform mandatory daily and weekly site clean up
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in renovation projects
- Ability to teach an apprentice in the future
- Possess a great work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Reliable and show up to work on time
- Ability to lead a team
- Own hand tools and Personal Protective Equipment
- Possess a valid driver's license and have your own transportation
Ability to do framing, drywall, tape and mud, painting, flooring, and finish carpentry

$35.00-$42.00 per hour
