RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility for project coordination and customer service as part of the Engineering team based in Brantford, ON

  • Responsible for generating project management documentation and support: statements of work, proposals, budgets, project execution plans, scheduling, resource management.
  • Responsibility for generating designs and details from prints, requests, or orders and assisting with
- sequencing material, labour and other resources to achieve consistent, quality product

  • Responsibility for accurate generation of drawings, reports or other technical documents and continuous improvement on deliverables
  • Responsible for overseeing project progress as it relates to the shop fabrication and installation stages
  • Responsibility for communicating project progress, challenges and other details to the professional services team assigned to the work and to the customer
  • Responsibility for working on multiple assignments with multiple deadlines with mínimal supervision
  • Responsibility and availability for frequent business travel as required on a project to project basis

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or college diploma
  • Working towards registration as Professional Engineer / Technologist / Technician
  • 25 years experience in an engineering or technical environment in a professional services company
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a project management role
  • Experience in working in an onsite environment
  • Proficiency in Autodesk CAD programs, MS Word, Excel, Project and other common business software systemsDuties:
  • Coordinate and oversee project activities from start to finish
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met
  • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Conduct research and gather necessary information for project implementation
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, presentations, and correspondence
  • Track project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and other projectrelated events
  • Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
    Skills:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D or similar software is preferred
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Problemsolving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

$43,063.62-$60,979.35 per year


Schedule:
