Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Clerk is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the department in its communications with other departments and support to the nurses and medical staff.
About You:
- We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Grade XII plus one year related experience or one year related program
- Medical Terminology course preferred
- Experience using PHS and STAR, Advanced PHS training preferred
- Computer experience (Windows, MS Office) and typing/keyboarding are required
- Customer service courses an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Coordination, organization and decision making abilities must be present
- Ability to function independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work in a high volume and high pressure setting
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- A skill test may be included as part of the selection process

Hours:
- Long Assignment Part-Time (50%) position, 35 hours Bi-Weekly
- Beginning in September 2023, with an expected end date of September 6, 2024
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $21.91 Hourly
