Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team.

As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees and visitors within our organization.

This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to implement effective safety protocols.


Duties:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify potential hazards or safety concerns
• Coordinate training, safety course and competencybased training of new hires.
• Provide safety training to employees on topics such as emergency response, hazard communication, and personal protective equipment
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions
• Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills or simulations
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and other relevant documentation
• Stay uptodate with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to workplace safety

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role
• Indepth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks or hazards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train employees on safety protocols
• Attention to detail and the ability to implement effective safety policies and procedures
• Ability to fabricate training materials or resources as needed
