Description
Responsibilities:
- Be a leading expert in personal, corporate, trust, estate and partnership tax compliance and planning matters.
- Lead a Tax Team
- Provide guidance and support to clients regarding tax planning strategies and financial decisions
- Manage and coordinate tax audits and CRA correspondence;
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial information for tax reporting purposes
- Stay uptodate with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely filing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA certification preferred
- CPA In-Depth Tax Course, or MTax
- Indepth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
- Experience in budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, financial auditing, and account reconciliation is a plus
Salary:
$100,873.86-$131,173.08 per year
