Description
About This Opportunity
New Germany is a rural inland community which is the centre of a group of communities in Lunenburg County on South Shore of Nova Scotia. This riverside community straddles the shores of the LaHave River, and is just 25 minutes from Bridgewater. The local medical center is looking for a family physician to join the collaborative practice. Currently there are two part-time physicians and two nurse practitioners at New Germany and Area Medical Centre. There is easy access to lab and x-ray services and a network of supportive specialist colleagues from the nearby regional center. The community is enthusiastic and eager to make new physicians feel welcome and can assist in finding accommodations if needed.
