Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the Living Room Concept is lived out with every customer that walks through the doors. Assist in resolving customer inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction, and establishing a welcoming and friendly shopping environment.
  • Assist in developing and nurturing a highperforming team. Support employee training, coaching, and mentoring to enhance skills and foster a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee inventory operations, including replenishment, cycle counts, and receiving. Ensure accuracy and efficiency in stock management to optimize availability for customers.
  • Execute all daytoday operational tasks and initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and shrink/safety guidelines.
  • Work with the team to achieve store targets and KPIs. Monitor and assess store performance, implementing improvement strategies as needed (with the support of the Store Manager).
  • Support in ensuring visual merchandising standards are met, contributing to an attractive and engaging store layout.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance store performance and connection with the local community (with support from Home Office)
  • Promote a safe and secure environment by overseeing the proper care and maintenance of company property, ensuring equipment functionality, and adhering to safety protocols throughout the location.
  • Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships and consistent communication with office support teams.

General Requirements

  • A clean driver's abstract, as occasional work related travel is required
  • Must be able to lift 25kg repeatedly without restriction
  • Required to work 50% of Saturdays in a year, with priority on the April-May Spring Rush (includes a combination of opens and closes)
