    Windsor Essex Community Centre (weCHC) strives to provide optimal health and wellbeing for our community. We offer a variety of healthcare services to vulnerable populations in Windsor-Essex. Our mission is to deliver accessible, inclusive, collaborative health and wellness care. We accomplish this through a lens of equity, integrity, inclusion, accountability, respect and compassion.

    We are a not for profit who provides health promotion, illness prevention and primary care using an integrated model in collaboration with community partnerships.

    We operate 5 physical locations throughout Windsor and Essex County. In addition to these sites we offer numerous services at various locations throughout Windsor and Essex County.

    We are funded by Ontario Health who largely funds our programs and services allowing us to offer them to our clients at no charge.

    Our Board is seeking two volunteer Members to sit on our Quality Utilization and Risk Committee (QUR). There is also opportunity to move into a Board Member position as current members leave.

    The ideal candidate should possess skills/expertise in the following areas:

    Member of Quality, Utilization and Risk (QUR) Committee of the Board


    • Previous experience on a Board is an asset
    • Strategic planning
    • Risk management
    • Quality Improvement
    Time Commitment

    The Committee meets three times per year (October, February, April) for a one hour meeting in the evening. The meetings are either in person or via Teams.
