Responsibilities:
- Assist cook to expedite orders
- Prepare foods for meal service; slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing ingredients; adding seasonings; verifying taste; and plating meals, as directed by the cook
- Basic cooking (deep frying, grilling) as directed by the cook
- Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature and assist in maintaining appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
- Store leftovers according to established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
- Complete cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules and dishwashing/pot washing as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Front of house serving, if needed
- Assistance in tracking inventory
Hours will vary and the start date is to determined (expected to start in late May)
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Food Handler Certification will be required to begin work
