HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR - CLASS II

(2 PERMANENTS POSITIONS - UNIONIZED)

Under the supervision of the Surface Services Supervisor, you will work in a safe, unique and motivating environment.

Your primary duties will be:

Operate a fleet of road vehicles (dump trucks, tankers, siphons, snowplows and buses).
Operate certain construction equipment (loader, bulldozer, dump truck, grader).
Transport employees to and from the airport to and from the mine site.

Your profile:

Professional degree in heavy equipment operator or High school diploma.
Five (5) years of experience in driving heavy earthmoving equipment and other specialized vehicles.
Five (5) years of experience in snow removal with a snowplow truck or in driving a grader or a semitrailer/fardier truck.
Exemplary driving record.
Class 1 driver's license.

What we offer:

Work shifts of 11 hours per day, alternating day/night.
Rotation schedule of 50/50: equivalent to 3 consecutive weeks of work followed by 2 weeks of leave; and 2 consecutive weeks of work followed by 3 weeks of leave or rotation schedule of 2/2: equivalent to 2 consecutive weeks of work followed by 2 weeks of leave.
Private air transport is provided from Montreal, Quebec, Rouyn-Noranda, Mont-Joli or Inuit communities (depending on place of residence) to the mine site and return.
